About Settlement at Gruene
Two things make this community exciting: Settlement is served by the highly-acclaimed New Braunfels ISD and is within walking distance to the famed Gruene Hall. The residents of Settlement at Gruene will be able to enjoy dining, live music, shopping and outdoor activities within walking distance of home in this beautiful Texas town. Gruene was founded in the mid 1840s by the Gruene family. Many of the homes the family built for relatives have been renovated into the town's stores and restaurants. Gruene has been added to the National Register of Historic Places and has been recognized by the Texas travel industry as a premiere attraction for visitors, which is no surprise to its merchants and guests
