Avalon is a beautiful community to live. Nestled in Homestead FL, Miami is only thirty miles north of Homestead, home to a major international airport and one of the country's most vibrant and culturally rich cities. Homestead is adjacent to two national parks. Ten miles west of Homestead is a wealth of natural beauty: Everglades National Park home to vast mangrove forests and watery sawgrass plains, truly a subtropical wilderness that shelters several wild life. East of the city is Biscayne National Park encompassing the bay, barrier islands, and coral reefs. Just south of the city are the Florida Keys with an abundance of recreational activities.
